Physiotherapy | Pure Motion Centre – North York

“I’ve been to over a dozen clinics in my lifetime, and I have never been to a clinic where the therapists work with such synergy and shared vision.” – Mike Mansey

At Pure Motion in North York, we are often referred tricky and challenging cases from our colleagues. These referrals come from around the GTA, and on occasion, from other provinces and countries. Our Toronto clinic’s physiotherapy approach is the amalgamation of highly specialized knowledge and techniques, acquired from years of continuing education, collaboration, and having fun going down rabbit holes. We integrate hands-on manual therapy, education, and rehabilitation exercises that encourage healing, efficient movement, and enhanced athletic performance.

At Pure Motion, rehabilitation is a personal process that includes exploring the nitty-gritty details of movement and pain, identifying goals, learning what’s important, and planning personalized treatment plans to promote healing and resilience. Our North York physiotherapy clinicians will help put the puzzle pieces together and support you through your recovery journey!

We will be exploring root causes, using a combination of techniques, and moving forward together.

At Pure Motion in North York, we take it a step further to incorporate techniques and knowledge based in neuroscience to create faster and deeper results.
Physiotherapy at Pure Motion works on mobility, pain-relief, function and nervous system communication. These are almost always helpful for everything from a significant injury to easing day-to-day aches.
The first appointment will include an in-depth review of your medical and injury history, functional testing to assess your movement and treatment for areas of imbalance. In your follow-up appointments, we will progress further in your recovery with manual therapy, exercises and education.
Please wear clothes that you are comfortable moving in, and short sleeves if needed to expose the area of injury. It will also be helpful to bring any related medical documentation.
We are often the clinic that treats other clinicians due to our specialized knowledge and techniques. At Pure Motion in North York, we use a variety of approaches, based in neuroscience, to guide our approach in exploring root causes of pain and injury, and in facilitating higher physical performance. This often leads to faster and deeper results.
While we have a reputation for facilitating lasting results in fewer treatments, every case is unique. Some concerns may be resolved in just one or two treatments; others may take longer, depending on the nature of the issue.
